More than just a light white cake, Angel Food now means inexpensive meals in the Whitehall area. Our Church is now a Distribution Host Site for Angel Food Ministries, an organization that provides premium quality food at discount prices. WE'RE IN THE NEWS!! Check out this video! (or go to www.10tv.com, 'video' menu link, and 'Churches Help Feed Families') Orders are placed within the first two weeks of the month, and food can be picked up at the church on the 4th Saturday of each month. See Solomon Blackshere, Tina Kuhn, Brenda Gould, or Debbie Alessi (Church Secretary) for more information - you can also stop by the church office from 9-12 Mon-Fri or call 231-6547. The menu of items in a $30 box changes monthly, see the Angel Food Ministries site for this month's menu, also available at the church. The box contains enough to feed a family of 4 for a week, and they offer a Senior Box for $28 that contains prepackaged balanced meals. It's a Movie, opening this weekend (9/26/08)... It's a Movement, challenging and supporting couples in crisis all over America... From the church who produced Facing the Giants and Flywheel, Fireproof is the story of a dedicated Firefighter and a marriage going up in flames. Dared by his father to show his wife unconditional love for 40 days, he learns "you can't give what you don't have". Beyond the movie, there are several ministries stepping forward, and resources have been produced and made available to support and encourage couples.
